Context

  • Independent beauty professionals need booking, client and business tools that feel useful without becoming heavy.
  • BuiltBy2 shaped the product around real appointment-led workflows, keeping the everyday work of running a beauty business at the centre.

  • The product needed to connect public discovery, client booking, provider administration and day-to-day business detail without making the experience feel complicated.
  • It also needed to stay consistent across a desktop workspace and native mobile apps used during a busy working day.

Our approach

  • The product structure starts with practical service-provider workflows, then turns those workflows into client-facing and admin-facing surfaces.
  • Each surface follows the order in which clients and providers make decisions, from discovery and availability through booking, checkout, client records and business administration.
  • The visual system stays calm and consistent across screen sizes while the underlying permissions, billing and data model support both sole traders and teams.
